REVIEW: ETUDE HOUSE | DEAR MY GLASS TINTING LIPS TALK

 As a huge fan of Etude House, you can imagine my sense of joy when I received an entire set of the Dear My Glass Tinting Lip Talk- I was ecstatic! 

Seeing that there were so many I decided to take the time to swatch and share more about them with you guys!

These new lipsticks comes in 20 different shades and the catch to them are the cases which are customisable to your preference. The lipsticks and cases are sold separately so you have the freedom to pair the shade that you like and match it with any of the 20 cases that are available for you to choose from! 

The designs of the cases are really cute and pretty and if it were me I would be spoilt for choice!

 From these 20 shades you can choose from a variety of reds, oranges, pinks and a few nude tones. There's one that even looks like green (I got a shock when I saw the colour) but when applied leaves a really nice and pink sheen (# GR 701) which was really unexpected! 

Seeing that this is more like a tinting lipstick, you can choose to apply this lightly or heavily as the shades are buildable. If you are a fan of a gradient lip this product makes it really easy to achieve that look as well. It also contains collagen and honey extract which makes it really hydrating, I remember while applying the colour it glides on so smoothly like a balm, leaving my lips really soft! 

 As much as I really love how this feels and look on my lips, I realised that using this may require some touch-ups throughout the day. Compared to other tints that really stains your lips, the formulation of this product is somewhere in between a tinted lip balm and a lipstick so I realised after a few hours of wear it was time for me to reapply it! For days where I apply little to no make up I would definitely pick this up since it's really lightweight and easy to work with, it's great for daily wear!

GLOW ZONE LASER FACIAL | SIMPLY AESTHETICS

Just about a week ago I visited Simply Aesthetics to try out their Glow Zone Laser Facial! So far I can safely say that I have been keeping my skin in check so for the past few months it has been behaving really well... (And I'm really hoping to keep it and that it stays that way haha) 

Hence my skin does not need any treatments that are too intense which is why I thought the Glow Zone Laser Facial is just nice for me as it can help maintain as well as rejuvenate my skin! 

Basically the Glow Zone Laser Facial is a quick and effective treatment to eliminate signs of aging and imperfections. It works for open pores, pimples as well as pigmentation. It is also non invasive and painless so don't worry about any down time, you can do this laser and go shopping right after!

I was told that I could see results after one session so I was really looking forward to see if the treatment worked. The therapist did one side of my face first and true enough.. I could see a difference! 

In the picture below: the dark circles under my eyes have reduced significantly!

 And in this picture below: I tried smiling and you can compare the smile lines on the left with the right, on the left side where it was treated, my smile lines are less deeper as compared to the right as well.

I got to see my skin up-close with a mirror as well and I could see that the texture of my skin did improve as well. Overall I think from x1 session overall you can actually see a 10-15% improvement depending on your skin type as well. For me, my skin was quite good to begin with so with continuous treatments it will help maintain and hopefully my skin can continue glowing in the long run!

2 NEW YOUTUBE VIDEOS!

Hey guys! It has been awhile since I have last posted a video so I have decided that this year I am going to be more active on myYoutube channel!
So far I have filmed and uploaded two new videos which I'm going to link below:

First up would be my January Favorites video! I have featured some of the products which have really helped my skin with my breakouts. It could be the time of the month which made me breakout like crazy so I had to religiously treat and take care of my skin before it got any worse. Thank god it is so much better now and I hope some of these items that help me can help you too :) 

My second video just got up yesterday and it is a Lunar New Year/Valentine's Day make u tutorial!

I think it is the first every makeup tutorial I ever did so I hope that you guys enjoyed it~

This look is very wearable and is super easy to build up if you want a stronger and bolder make up look! I am definitely going to be wearing this look throughout Chinese New year! :)

BOLD LIPS

Experimented with a bold lip today, not sure if I love it or hate it.. I am more of a gradient lips + hot pink lippie person so this combination is relatively new for me. OH OH, and yes meet my new fringe!!! Decided to give my fringe a trim as it has been ages since I had it short and my hairdresser suggested that it would be good to give my parting a rest sooooooo here's it is!

PASJEL BABY SKIN SG

So recently I have been digging this new skincare brand which I was introduced to and it is none other than PasJel! PasJel was first established in Thailand and it's popularity has exploded out of its shores and around to it's neighbouring countries in Asia! I have always been a fan of Thailand skincare products as they are formulated well to suit Asian skin and have always been effective!

One of the few things that attracted me to their products were that most of them contained natural ingredients which are great for the skin! Plus points for natural ingredients :) 

Before drafting out this post, I had about a month to try out the products and after a month has passed I can say that I am truly pleased with them! I have picked out 4 products to choose from and here's what I chose!

PasJel Fluffy Favour

As I was running out of my old moisturiser, I thought it was timely that I get to try a new one out! For me I tend to lean towards moisturisers that wouldn't leave my skin sticky or oily, so initially I was a little skeptical to try out a new brand when I haven't tested yet. 

However I still decided to go along with my choice and to my surprise I ended up loving this product to bits!The PasJel Fluffy Favour contains Bee Venom and Royal Jelly extract which aids in firming and bringing back elasticity to the skin. At the same time it intensively moisturises with anti-ageing benefits! Packed with tons of goodness for the skin :)

The scent of this moisturiser is really nice and pleasant, the texture is extremely smooth and after applying the product is absorbed well leaving no residue on the skin. It also has that soft and velvety touch after! 

PasJel Oh my Egg Blue (Whitening Formula Soap)

This soap works like a bar soap and lathers when in contact with water, one of the main properties of this soap is that it helps brighten your skin which in turn gives you a clearer complexion!

This soap can be used on the face as well as the body so it's great if you would like to brighten your skin on any part of your body! I'm a fan of skin whitening/brightening products so it was a joy being able to try this out and achieve radiant glowing skin at the end of it all! I have so many friends telling me how much fairer I have become compared to before :) Three cheers to fairer skin!!!

PasJel Premiere Silver Pink Facial Mask

As a fan of masks I couldn't pass off the chance to try out a new mask and I chose this one from PasJel! This mask packs a punch with ingredients that helps reduce inflammation as well as to tone and tighten the skin help you to achieve younger looking skin! 

Basically one word to summarise this mask would be an all-in-1 mask for your face :) 

PasJel Sun Fighting Gel

This has probably got to be my favourite product out of the rest! Gone were the days when sunblock used to be sticky, oily and leaves your face feeling and looking weird after application. I love how this sunblock is colourless and glides on so well on you skin!!! 

Upon application it literally melts onto your skin and is absorbed right away. Not only that it leaves a velvety surface which makes applying make up after super easy, it works almost as well as a primer does that I don't even use my usual primer anymore when I use this!

PONY BEAUTY SECRETS: EP1

Hiiiiiiiii, I have just uploaded a  new beauty video on my channel! 

Honestly it has been such a long break but I am finally back :) 

The first video of this series will be on my favorite beauty masks!  I am such a sucker for masks and I have featured some of the ones I use and alternate on a daily basis! To be honest I'm not 100% confirmed sure if it's 'scientifically' okay to mask daily however I have been doing it for months to a year and so far my skin has been nothing short of awesome! Although I do know that if you mask daily with the same mask you skin might get used to it and soon the mask will lose it's effect, that is why I keep a variety of masks to use so it's something different for my skin everyday :)

Hey guys! Today I'm back with another skincare review, and this time with this brand that's new to the site and perhaps to some of you, I will be going in depth on some of these products and hopefully you will find this post useful and informative if you're looking for some new skincare products to try out :) 

Dr. Young, the award-winning skincare brand from Korea is officially in Singapore!

The brand combines the skin nourishing goodness of natural ingredients with cutting edge skincare technology to bring a skincare system that makes taking care of your skin a simple part of your daily ritual.

Dr. Young has 5 product lines: Anti-Dryness Line, AC Control Line, Protect-Prevent Line, Anti-Pore Line and Special Care Line that are targeted at various skin concerns. 

Just to share with you guys, my main skin concerns are:

 I have slightly enlarged pores on my cheek area next to my nose area; hence I can get very insecure when they get too visible. With that being said, I received most of the products from the Anti-Pore Line to help target the problems that I was facing with my skin.

In addition, this alcohol-free, scent-free and paraben-free product has a multi-emulsion structure to allow fresh and moist feel with no stickiness.

Right: Another bestseller from Dr. Young- the Pore Eraser Balm

 Pore Eraser Balm is a primer that has won numerous blind tests in Korean beauty programmes, making it a hit in countries like Hong Kong, Thailand, USA, Malaysia and Taiwan. This soft-textured pore-managing balm is created particularly to cover pores in prominent areas such as nose, cheek and forehead. Its multi-cross structure silicone will help to fill up pores and rough surfaces of the skin making your skin absolutely flawless.

I have definitely given these products a try for about a week or so and I'm happy to say that I very much liked each and every one of them! One thing I love about Korean skincare is that is it made very suited for Asian skin and for the products from Dr.Young; they have surprised me and worked very well with my skin :) Let me show you briefly how I incorporate these products into my daily skincare regime! 

 After cleansing and toning my skin, I would pump 1-2x of the Pore tightening serum onto my fingers and pat it gently onto my skin, keeping the concentration of the product on my cheeks (where my pores at most obvious). The first thing that I noticed about the product is that it is very light in texture and readily absorbed quickly without leaving any oily/sticky residue behind, allowing me to apply my moisturizer after without much hassle! 

As some of you might have already known, I'm a huge fan of clay masks and to be given a new brand to try makes me super happy!

Clay masks works by drawing the impurities and excess sebum out of your pores to prevent clogging/blackheads and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth after, and with this Clay Mask from Dr.Young, I loved how it worked on my skin!

 This Clay Mask comes slightly scented as compared to some of the others I've tried and for those who likes scented products you might like this! It's not overpowering but somewhat soothing so you can get to relax and enjoy a relaxing pampering session for your skin while masking :) 

 The Pore Eraser Balm comes in after I'm done with my skin care, it's time to prep my skin for make-up! With the pore-eraser balm, it works as a primer as well as conceals all visible signs of your pores giving your skin a smooth and flawless look!

See below, I did a before-after comparison for the Pore Eraser Balm and in the after pic, the lines on my hand are less visible as compared to before and I love how it has a smooth and velvety finish ~

 Amazing!

Now I can safely cover the enlarged pores on my skin and have the Pore Eraser Balm tighten them at the same time making it less visible than before :) 

Did another test on my face and as you can see on the left the skin is way smoother as compared to the right! I love how after application it literally blends in so well with my skin that I don't feel any product left over :) Definitely going into my bucket of favorite products now! 

Last but not least - the Protect and Prevent Triple Action BB Cream!

I like how this BB cream comes with whitening and anti-wrinkle properties, why not use a product that not only protects your skin but keeps it young and radiant at the same time? 

 They say a little goes a long way and true enough with this BB cream, a little is good to cover your entire face. For this product, I particularly like how it isn't thick nor sticky and applies evenly and leaves no stickiness after! You can work out a light-heavy coverage depending on your liking and how much you build-up the product but won't look too cakey on your skin after.

A very versatile and useful product indeed :)
