V-LINE TREATMENT WITH DR DANIEL CHANG @ ASIA AESTHETIC CENTRE

For my first visit, It was really comfortable consulting with the attending doctor and trusted that he would help treat the issues I had as well as look after my skin.

Okay so most people around me would ask "What is wrong with your face Donna?"

Complexion wise I'm pretty please as I haven't got any active breakouts but I would like to remove a few pigmentation and dark spots left over from previous acne scars as well as maintain a clear complexion so I got laser done!

Secondly,

after my zygoma and jaw reduction surgery 2 years ago in Korea, I felt that I have quite a bit of "skin" under my eyes and cheeks . Especially in areas labelled A and B in the picture above. Initially I thought it was fats so I assumed I should just lose weight. Despite losing weight recently, I felt that there wasn't a change to my face so I kept thinking that my face is forever going to be fat (hahaha) However the doctor told me that those weren't fat and were sagging skin that's left over after losing weight and removing the bones from my surgery.. (didn't realise this was going to happen) so I was really bummed as this meant no matter how much weight I was going to lose my skin is going to be like this :(

To combat my sagging skin I was recommended the Botox V-lift, this involved injecting small doses of botox along my face from the temples to my jawline to tighten the skin as well as stimulating and re-ordering the fibroblasts of the skin cells to bind more elastin and collagen, to create an instant tightening effect!

It was recommended to have a few sessions done in order to get the optimum results but you can already see results from one session! There isn't a downtime for this procedure except for a couple of small red spots and minor bruising depending on the individual but other than that the treatment went by very quickly!

GLOW ZONE LASER FACIAL | SIMPLY AESTHETICS

Just about a week ago I visited Simply Aesthetics to try out their Glow Zone Laser Facial! So far I can safely say that I have been keeping my skin in check so for the past few months it has been behaving really well... (And I'm really hoping to keep it and that it stays that way haha) 

Hence my skin does not need any treatments that are too intense which is why I thought the Glow Zone Laser Facial is just nice for me as it can help maintain as well as rejuvenate my skin! 

Basically the Glow Zone Laser Facial is a quick and effective treatment to eliminate signs of aging and imperfections. It works for open pores, pimples as well as pigmentation. It is also non invasive and painless so don't worry about any down time, you can do this laser and go shopping right after!

I was told that I could see results after one session so I was really looking forward to see if the treatment worked. The therapist did one side of my face first and true enough.. I could see a difference! 

In the picture below: the dark circles under my eyes have reduced significantly!

 And in this picture below: I tried smiling and you can compare the smile lines on the left with the right, on the left side where it was treated, my smile lines are less deeper as compared to the right as well.

I got to see my skin up-close with a mirror as well and I could see that the texture of my skin did improve as well. Overall I think from x1 session overall you can actually see a 10-15% improvement depending on your skin type as well. For me, my skin was quite good to begin with so with continuous treatments it will help maintain and hopefully my skin can continue glowing in the long run!

CELL RENEWAL TREATMENT | ATLAS MEDISPA

Since lately we're on the topic of Acne on my blog, I thought I'd share the latest treatment launched at Atlas Medispa,
the Cell Renewal Treatment.
This treatment is suitable for most skin types and especially if you have oily/ acne prone skin, active breakouts, this treatment would be recommended for your skin :)
I don't suffer from acne but occasionally I get zits on my face during the time of the month and although it's only 1-2 pimples they can get quite big and red so it was timely that I got to try out this treatment and see how it worked for me!

These ingredients helps to soothe skin inflammation and expedite wound healing which is good if you have any redness as well as pimples on the skin. These pictures were taken after treatment and I had minimal make up on my skin (if you look close enough you can see past pimple marks/spots on my cheeks) and I must say that so far I really enjoyed the treatment, my skin felt really fresh and rejuvenated! Not to mention more lively looking as well!
If there's one thing about my skin that I hate that would be dull skin so walking out of the treatment with glowing skin made me a happy girl!

GLOWY SKIN WITH VITAMIN C | ATLAS MEDISPA

As a girl we all desire bright and glowing skin don't we? Well do you know that Vitamin C actually plays a huge role in ensuring that your skin stays radiant and bright? I don't think I have mentioned it before here but I have been religiously taking supplements for my skin and one of the key supplements I consume is Vitamin C! VITA GLOW BY ATLAS MEDISPA

So as most of you would have known by now, my skin / aesthetics are being taken care of by the Atlas Medical Group and so far I have to say that I'm really thankful for their help in looking after my skin concerns! Recently they have launched 2 new facials after receiving intensive training from Korea and bringing back this these treatments to offer at the clinic! 

First up would be the Korean Vita Glow facial! It was one of the most pampering facial sessions I have experienced and I totally enjoyed it!

During the facial, I have had medical grade vitamins infused into my skin as well as a mask and a good facial/neck and shoulder massage all within one session! My skin can be seen glowing after and even for a few days after the treatment!

I honestly cannot emphasise how much I love and my facial sessions with Atlas as my skin is always brighter, clearer and radiant with each session. I would definitely recommend visiting the clinic to try it out yourself :)
