A quick visual diary of my brunch date with Sis last week before I flew to Bangkok!
We've been making plans to visit different cafes around SG to have brunch but sadly this is our failed brunch attempt since we visit the Coastal Settlement on a weekday and they didn't have All day Breakfast (probably only on weekends so do note!)
Despite not getting our breakfast food.. we settled on lunch-equivalent food haha
We had Truffle Fries, Mushroom Truffle Carbonara and All Cheese Pizza (I think...)
The dishes were pretty mediocre, gotta say that the carbonara was pretty bad tho :/ I think I would be much happier with Pastamania's normal Carnbonara #justsaying
Nevertheless to make up for the pasta, the pizza was pretty yummy so we managed to find something that we were happy to enjoy :)
Tams suggested dessert so we had waffles and ice cream! I loved the dessert as well!
It was perfectly baked waffles along with a scoop of chocolate ice cream, yummy :)
Overall I thought TCS was pretty... so-so. I wouldn't go back if I could tho, mainly cos location wise it wouldn't be convenient for me as I don't own a car. Secondly I feel that there would be places with better western cuisine. However, if given another chance I might go back once more to check out the breakfast menu! :)
