For Halloween this year I've decided to come up 2 wearable looks which is easy to replicate. 

This first look is based on the recent movie I.T and here you can see I'm made up as Pennywise!

REVIEW: ETUDE HOUSE | DEAR MY GLASS TINTING LIPS TALK

 As a huge fan of Etude House, you can imagine my sense of joy when I received an entire set of the Dear My Glass Tinting Lip Talk- I was ecstatic! 

Seeing that there were so many I decided to take the time to swatch and share more about them with you guys!

These new lipsticks comes in 20 different shades and the catch to them are the cases which are customisable to your preference. The lipsticks and cases are sold separately so you have the freedom to pair the shade that you like and match it with any of the 20 cases that are available for you to choose from! 

The designs of the cases are really cute and pretty and if it were me I would be spoilt for choice!

 From these 20 shades you can choose from a variety of reds, oranges, pinks and a few nude tones. There's one that even looks like green (I got a shock when I saw the colour) but when applied leaves a really nice and pink sheen (# GR 701) which was really unexpected! 

Seeing that this is more like a tinting lipstick, you can choose to apply this lightly or heavily as the shades are buildable. If you are a fan of a gradient lip this product makes it really easy to achieve that look as well. It also contains collagen and honey extract which makes it really hydrating, I remember while applying the colour it glides on so smoothly like a balm, leaving my lips really soft! 

 As much as I really love how this feels and look on my lips, I realised that using this may require some touch-ups throughout the day. Compared to other tints that really stains your lips, the formulation of this product is somewhere in between a tinted lip balm and a lipstick so I realised after a few hours of wear it was time for me to reapply it! For days where I apply little to no make up I would definitely pick this up since it's really lightweight and easy to work with, it's great for daily wear!

SUICIDE SQUAD HARLEY QUINN MAKEUP LOOK

So awhile back I caught Suicide Squad (who hasn't!!!) and almost instantly, I fell in love with Harley Quinn acted by Margot Robbie. Prior to this video I have read many articles online about how the character Harley Quinn isn't as simple as she seemed in the movie and that girls shouldn't inspire to be like her as there's more to her relationship with the Joker falling within the lines of domestic abuse etc.. however just a heads up that I'm not glorying the negativity or encouraging people to look up to her as a role model but I attempted this look all in the name of fun~~~

2 NEW YOUTUBE VIDEOS!

Hey guys! It has been awhile since I have last posted a video so I have decided that this year I am going to be more active on myYoutube channel!
So far I have filmed and uploaded two new videos which I'm going to link below:

First up would be my January Favorites video! I have featured some of the products which have really helped my skin with my breakouts. It could be the time of the month which made me breakout like crazy so I had to religiously treat and take care of my skin before it got any worse. Thank god it is so much better now and I hope some of these items that help me can help you too :) 

My second video just got up yesterday and it is a Lunar New Year/Valentine's Day make u tutorial!

I think it is the first every makeup tutorial I ever did so I hope that you guys enjoyed it~

This look is very wearable and is super easy to build up if you want a stronger and bolder make up look! I am definitely going to be wearing this look throughout Chinese New year! :)

BOLD LIPS

Experimented with a bold lip today, not sure if I love it or hate it.. I am more of a gradient lips + hot pink lippie person so this combination is relatively new for me. OH OH, and yes meet my new fringe!!! Decided to give my fringe a trim as it has been ages since I had it short and my hairdresser suggested that it would be good to give my parting a rest sooooooo here's it is!

#MY1TRUEMATCH: L'OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION

A week ago, I posted a picture on Instagram talking about #my1truematch..

Ever wondered what it was? 

Yes, it is none other than the L'Oreal True Match Foundation!

I've always been on a look-out for foundations/base coverage that gives a perfect coverage, yet feels light on the skin. I know how uncomfortable it can feel with piling on too much make-up on your skin hence I never liked the idea of putting on too much fearing that my skin wouldn't be able to breathe.

However it wasn't easy to come across a product that was perfect and suited to my liking until I was

introduced to the L'Oreal True Match Foundation.

Don't be fooled by it's appearance, this foundation is magic within a bottle. 

With an SPF of 17++ it has got you covered from UV rays, it also contains hyaluronic acid to keep your skin moisturized for up to 24 hours! On top of that, expect to see an improvement of skin quality after just 2 weeks of continued usage :)

I love how easy it is to apply, all you need is a small pump and it goes a long way~

 The L'Oreal One True Match Foundation comes in 6 different shades as shown below

Thanks to the latest Opti-match technology, the True Match Foundation is able to match all skin tones! Upon testing some of the swatches on my arm, I realized how easy it was to blend the foundation into my skin and the shade that was closest to mine (N4) was barely noticeable after it 

has completely dried up. 

Now I see how the name 'True Match' came about ;)

It is time to put the foundation to the test! I was super excited to try it out after reading it's properties..

seemed too good to be true!!! 

I am using the shade N4 and honestly I was amazed at how the product was so easy to apply and blend without using a brush or anything. The consistency of the product wasn't thick nor too watery, it was just right and I liked how it felt very hydrating on the skin as well :) 

I decided to apply the True Match Foundation to half of my face to see how well it covers,

And to my amazement it did cover up some of the redness on my cheeks and uneven skin tones!

This is very good as I've only used a 1 pump of the product to cover half my face and with just 

a little of it I can get such an amazing coverage! I'am really pleased with the results!!!

Here's a test with a mango which shows how great it's coverage is! 

Not forgetting the natural and flawless finish as well! 

After application it looked like I never applied anything onto my skin at all!!!

 I decided to apply the True Match Foundation to the rest of my face...

as well as complete the rest of my look~

My one true match in life has definitely got to complement me and bring out the best in me.

Just like this foundation, it suits my skin tone and covers my imperfections :)

 Guess the L'Oreal True Match Foundation is going to be the latest addition to my

favorite make-up stash! Can't wait to start using this everyday to achieve bright and flawless skin :)

WEEKEND MAKE UP TUTORIAL; SWEETS FROM BEYOND

So as promised... here's a step-by-step tutorial of how I do my make-up on weekends!!!

Why weekends.. well, on weekdays I get super lazy with my make-up so usually I'll apply

sunblock, loose powder and some blush. But on weekends, I'll apply slightly more make-up and

that's also if I head out and all~

make-up as it's not too light, yet not as heavy as well. Sort of like an 'in-between' shade for me which I really loveeee! You can choose to sweep this lightly over your cheeks for a rosy blush or build up a layer or 2 over the first if you want your cheeks to pop and be the focus of your face.

Super love this as it's a really versatile shade and the shimmer in it adds a nice glow to your cheeks :)
